Professional Soccer Player KC Current II

Anna is a professional soccer player for Kansas City Current II, entering her fourth year as a professional, and has competed in Sweden, Mexico, and the United States, giving her a unique perspective on international playing styles and player development pathways.

Before beginning her professional career, Anna led a research project for Sportsology, a world-renowned professional sports consulting firm, and gained experience with Inter Miami CF as an intern in the scouting department. Anna is passionate about furthering the game and expanding access across the United States. She is committed to helping grow the sport at all levels while building stronger development pathways so the U.S. can become a true global powerhouse in soccer.

Upon retirement from playing, Anna plans to attend law school to gain the skills necessary to transition to the managerial side of professional soccer, with the long-term goal of building and leading her own team.

Chris Henderson

CSO Atlanta United Player KC Current II

Chris is a veteran soccer executive and former U.S. international, recognized for his leadership in club building and talent identification. As Chief Soccer Officer of Atlanta United FC, Chris oversees all sporting operations, bringing decades of experience from executive roles with Inter Miami CF and Seattle Sounders FC, where he helped build championship-winning teams and sustainable player development systems.

Before transitioning to the front office, Chris enjoyed a distinguished playing career as a midfielder and winger, earning more than 70 caps with the United States Men’s National Team and competing in Major League Soccer with clubs including the Kansas City Wizards, Colorado Rapids, and Miami Fusion, as well as internationally in Germany and Norway.

Chris is passionate about developing players, strengthening organizations, and advancing the growth of the game in North America.

Daniela Gallardo

Daniela is a sports marketing executive and athlete brand strategist with over a decade of experience in sponsorship development and partnership marketing. After leading partnership marketing initiatives at Inter Miami CF and Concacaf, Daniela founded NextGen FC to help athletes build strong, marketable personal brands and create opportunities beyond the game.

Known for her expertise in brand activations, commercial strategy, and athlete marketing, Daniela has worked with top global brands and major international competitions and is passionate about empowering athletes and professionals to achieve their full potential.

Lauren Markwith

DIRECTOR FOUNDER &

Social Media Manager FIFA World Cup 2026

Lauren is a soccer media professional, digital content creator, and rising voice in women’s football. A former University of Miami midfielder and Guatemalan Women’s National Team player, she currently serves as Social Media Manager for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, leading digital storytelling and fan engagement for one of the sport’s largest global events.

Lauren has also worked in broadcast and content creation roles with Inter Miami CF, the Washington Spirit and Miami FC/CBS Miami, serving as a sideline reporter, digital host, and color commentator, while elevating visibility for women in sport.

Combining her on-field experience with a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism and a master’s in sports administration from the University of Miami, she is recognized for shaping fan engagement, storytelling, and the growth of the women’s soccer media landscape.

Sheyenne Allen

Professional Soccer Player Halifax Tides FC

Sheyenne is a professional soccer player for Halifax Tides FC and a leader committed to excellence, service, and advancing equity through sport.

Sheyenne graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s in biology and four Ivy League Championships. She was also an active voice in campus leadership and inclusion efforts. Sheyenne served on Brown’s Diversity and Inclusion Oversight Board, the Student Advisory Board for Equity and Diversity, participated in the Women’s Soccer Justice Coalition and was trained in community dialogue facilitation through Brown’s Community Dialogue Project.

Sheyenne has since built a professional soccer career competing in the United States and Portugal. Upon retirement, Sheyenne plans to attend PA (physicians associate) school.
